Recent Artwork

As you can see, my main focus is digital art, but occasionally I dabble in different traditional medias. c: I also really love doing fan art in particular, but I also have a variety of original characters. My passion has been art since I was old enough to hold a pencil and I try to draw and practice as often as I can! I am currently a sophomore in college, majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Creative Writing.

Art For Me <3

FAQs

FAQs

Q. What program do you use for your digital art?
A. Paint Tool SAI for line art/coloring/shading, and Photoshop Elements 9 for sketching, backgrounds, and effects. (Most of the time.)

Q. Do you use a tablet?
A. Yes, I use a Bamboo pen tablet.

Q. How long have you been drawing? How long have you been doing digital art?
A. I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. I got my first version of photoshop when I was in sixth grade. (currently a sophomore in college) However, I didn't start actually drawing on it until seventh or eighth grade.

Q. How long does it take you to draw a picture?
A. Depends on the picture. Things that are easier for me take about 3-4 hours. When I spend more time on something more complex, I can spend about 9-10 hours or something. Unfortunately, I have a short patience, so it's hard for me to push that limit. (Though not impossible.)

Q. Do you do requests?
A. I'm going to say it politely, no. I do not have time for requests, unfortunately. I do commissions, however.

Q. Are you open for commissions?
A. Check the 'Art Stats' section of my profile.

Q. Can we do an art trade?
A. Sorry, but art trades are for close friends only. I don't usually accept trades unless I ask for them.

Q. Why are your commissions so expensive?
A. I try to make an estimation to where I can make at least 7-8$ per hour (minimum wage) spent on each commission.

DO NOT USE MY ARTWORK ANYWHERE, UNLESS PROPERLY GIVEN PERMISSION BY ME. YOU MAY POST ON TUMBLR AND OTHER BLOG SITES AS LONG AS YOU GIVE ME CREDIT, SAYING IT WAS DONE BY xxMOONWISH ON DEVIANTART WITH A LINK TO THIS PAGE. RE-POSTING MY ART AND CLAIMING IT AS YOUR OWN IS DISHONORABLE AND AGAINST COPYRIGHT LAWS. Thank you!

I appreciate every watch, every comment, every favorite, and every page view. (: Without my watchers and supporters I would have never made it this far in the art world. So I owe it to all of you wonderful people. It's very humbling to see how many people actually enjoy your art, and I whole-heartedly support young artists that are just starting out. So, thank you for everything! ❤

Alright, so I'm going to stop putting this off and get right down to it.

I'm sorry I'm raising the prices, but here is my reasoning:
+ The more art I do, the better I get. The better I get, the more time I spend on a piece. When I started DA I could draw a cat to the best of my abilities in less than an hour. Low quality, of course. But now I spend a few hours to draw a cat to the best of my ability. (Just using cat as an example) So, long story short, I spend more time on things.
+ I'm currently your typical broke college student. At this point, I'm going to have to take a year or so break from college, just to recover from expenses and try not to get so far in debt. I can't just do commissions 'for fun' (even though it can be relaxing, and it's something I do enjoy) I need to do them as work. It needs to be worth it, these prices are ROUGHLY based on $6-$9 an hour.
+ I hope I'm not being to rough with the prices, but I'm currently a full time student and I'm looking for a part time job ATM so in between those things my time really matters. D: I hope you guys understand!

COMMISSION TERMS OF SERVICE

+ !! PAYMENT: You must pay me BEFOREHAND. (If you are uncomfortable with that, you can just pay me half and then pay me the rest when I am finished.)
   - I take Paypal and Points.

- Point commissions are more expensive and should ONLY be used if you don't have access to    Paypal. (DeviantART takes a certain %)
   - DO NOT PAY UNTIL I AM READY TO START YOURS! I will take 5 commissions at a time, so that means there may be people ahead of you. I will let you know when I can get started on yours  and  when you can submit payment.
   - POINTS MUST BE PAID THROUGH THE COMMISSION WIDGET ON MY PROFILE. I will make an option specific to your commission when you need to pay. Do not 'gift' or 'donate' them please!

+ I have the right to decline or reject any commission I may not feel comfortable doing - whether it includes offensive material, or I just don't feel like I'm able to.

+ Let me know ahead of time if you need it done by a certain time. If not, it could take up to a month to complete. (I've been known to finish them the next day though, it all just depends.) Keep in mind I'm a full time student and I'm currently searching for a part time job. Also, I like to take my time on them so you can get the best quality possible!

+ Please stay in contact with me! I like to be able to ask my commissioner questions, send an initial sketch, and let my commissioner my status on it.

+ You reserve the right to request a refund. If you feel the commission took too long to complete or was unsatisfactory, please let me know and I can try to take care of it.

+ I am comfortable doing gore and violence. I am also comfortable doing sexual themes, but only to a certain degree and only as anthros. (No flat out porn images) (Not comfortable enough yet to do humans as commissions, and feral four-legged animals as sexual content just isn't my thing yo.)

+ The difference between simple and detailed: it's just as it sounds, really. I will put up examples as soon as I have them.

+ If for some reason you fail to pay me, you WILL be blacklisted. That way I know to avoid you in the future and I can warn others.

PRICES!

I don't have examples for everything yet! And keep in mind since my prices are a bit higher, my quality will be a little better than some of these!

+ THESE ARE ALL STARTING PRICES! Additional costs can happen with complexity. (Ex: A more complex character like a dragon, lots of accessories, horns/wings etc.)

HEADSHOTS: - Simple (no shading): $10 or 1,000 pts.
                       - Simple (cell shading): $15 or 1,500 pts.
                       - Detailed (cell shading): $20 or 2,000 pts.
+ a simple background: for free upon request!
                       + a complex background: +$5 or 500 pts.
Info: Simple just means a more simplistic style. Detailed is just that - more detailed. You can have a transparent BG, or a simple color/texture background for no extra cost. However, a complex background would be like having a landscape or something. Keep in mind, a headshot is only framed around the head though. If you wish to have a headshot with more of a landscape, that may be at extra cost. Complex backgrounds are only for detailed drawings.

HOW TO COMMISSION ME:

Pretty simple. Just NOTE me with this info:
- Commission type (ex: simple headshot w/ no shading, realistic headshot, detailed full body with two characters, etc.)
- Reference of your character. If visual references aren't available, that's okay. (though they are preferred) Just send me a pretty easy-to-read and straight to the point physical description. I'll do my best to make it work.
- Specifics. Certain accessories you want added/to leave out? Certain poses/expressions? Certain type of background?
- (optional) You can send me a little background info on your character, just seems funner to draw if I know more about the actual character. c:
- Any other info, like if you want it done by a certain date and stuff.
- Type of payment. Paypal or points? (Don't pay yet though, I'll let you know when!)

After that I'll add you to my list ASAP and let you know when to pay!

American Flag Pixel by Lucernne | 19 | ♀ | ♋

Hi! My name is Jordan, but everyone online knows me as Jordi or Moony. c:
I'm currently 19, and a sophomore in college. I attend a university and I live on campus except for the summer. I'm pursuing a career in both of my passions of art and writing with a major in Graphic Design and a minor in Creative Writing. :3 During the summer I live with my parents and my boyfriend. My boyfriend and I are currently fixing up a house to live in. (: My ultimate goal in life is to become a successful graphic novelist.

Besides schoolwork and drawing/art, I also enjoy reading, playing video games, sleeping, drinking coffee, being with my friends, family and boyfriend, and running/fitness.

Your page looks beautiful! Everything is so neat and looks great! Did you get the coding commissioned (if so, who, may I ask?) or did you code it yourself? (If so, can you give me any tips?) I thought I'd ask, since it looks so professional!~
